Happy New Year!

As we stomp 2009 off our boots and the sun comes up with all its promise we begin 2010 with a new song we recorded. Go to our myspace to hear “One Night Stand” penned and captured by our friend Tony Mangurian at his studio behind one of our favorite haunts-The Mint. We look forward to being with all of you again, our next shows are coming up in March. We’re all in the same silly boat rowing, or sleeping, “gently down the stream,” and ”life is but a dream,” in between those moments we “wake up,” to the beauty or the horror of what’s real and respond. Live and learn. Good thing we have each other.”People only need people and nothing else. Don’t you forget it.” This is a line from the children’s book my daughter picked for us to read on new year’s eve. I said, “Pick us a good one to start the new year by!” and of ALL her many books, this was the jewel she brought to bed. I’m keeping my heart tuned to this simple station for 2010. I guess we’ll see how it went this time next year! Live and learn. And, for God’s sake, and anyone who loves us and just might depend on us, let’s keep it simple and uncomplicated!
